Celebrity Horizon: NYC - Bermuda Cruise
In May, 2002, we attended a
"Seminar at Sea" with Chris Donatelli. Chris is a District Sales Manager for
Royal Caribbean/Celebrity Cruise Lines. It was a 7 day sailing out of New York
to Bermuda on the Celebrity Horizon.

Our first taste of food after we reached the ship.

The Celebrity Zenith, berthed next to the Horizon. This "sister
ship" of the Horizon

From the deck of the Horizon we had a great view of the
Manhattan Skyline

The "Bon Voyage" drinks were excellent with the festive music

Sailing away from the pier we had a great view of the USS
Intrepid Floating Museum

The southern end of Manhattan Island. The Two Towers are very
much missed

Battery park and many high rise buildings were easy to see

The gateway out of the NYC Harbor, the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge

The Horizon entering the harbor of St. Georges

A very old schooner docked in the harbor at St. Georges, Bermuda

There were many many beautiful sailboats in the harbor

beach a short walk from St. Georges

The Horizon docked at Hamilton, Bermuda

A few of the Horizon from a high point near St. Georges

We rented scooters and traveled the island. There were so many
beautiful coastlines

privacy

We will be adding pictures and
a journal about our trip over the next week or so. Check back to see and hear
about a wonderful cruise!
